U.S. China People's Friendship Association Seminar
The national seminar of USCPFA was held in Washington, D. C. Peggy Roney (bottom left with me), President of the Southern Region of USCPFA advocated my invitation to speak at the seminar. My presentation focused on how U.S.-China relations have historically affected the lives of Chinese in America. A highlight of the 2 day event was a reception for our group held at the elegant new Chinese Embassy. I presented Ambassador Zhang Yesui (top right) with a set of Yin and Yang Press books.

The Organization of Chinese Americans. National Council on Chinese Americans, Chinese Americans Citizen's Alliance, and the 1882 Project co sponsored my talk in D.C. Chinatown to a lively and cordial audience of about 50. Stan Lou, the organizer for the vent introduced me. I spoke about how I became involved with writing 4 books on Chinese American history after retiring from a career as a professor of psychology.
